It came into existence in 2011 through Botrini’s Project, a successful TV program based around the idea of providing young people, who has found themselves alienated, with a vision through gastronomy. Chef Botrini recruited 12 individuals in need for a career opportunity, with no prior restaurant experience, to form the brigade of the fine dining restaurant. The operational structure did not comply to traditional kitchen hierarchies and all team members worked as equals under the guidance of the Chef. The restaurant was awarded with its first Michelin Star in 2014, only two and a half years after its opening. In the years that followed, the restaurant was established as one of the most important restaurants of the country.
Our Restaurant
Our Restaurant
Botrini’s is based in a two-story house -a former elementary school-, with a red tile roof surrounded by a beautiful green garden where we accommodate our guests during the long Greek summers.
The restaurant is the realization of one of Ettore Botrini’s oldest dreams, who had envisioned an establishment that would provide hope to people who have lost it, while offering guests, what he considers to be, one of life’s greatest pleasures: the sharing of food with loved ones.
Our neighbourhood
Our neighborhood has a distinct identity. While Chalandri is filled with parks, red-tile houses, cycle paths and green spots like the Rematia Suburban Woodland, it is also known for its buzzing center -just a short walk from Botrini’s- a constellation of pedestrian streets with a lively bar scene and beautiful little cafes and shops.
